ATYP Production Support Fund

ATYP creates brave new productions that set high benchmarks for youth theatre globally. We stage new voices that tell stories that capture the interests, experiences and imaginations of modern Australian young people.

Through our yearly season of productions, ATYP aims to:

ATYP comes from a position of strength with a solid performance track record, strong industry relationships and an expanding profile to deliver these aims. The proof is in our fully-professional 2022 Season, which brings together exceptional talent from Australian writers, brought to life by outstanding creative teams.

In 2020, ATYP won an AWGIE Award for Theatre for Young Audiences for our production of CUSP (Commissioned by ATYP and Playwriting Australia, and-produced by ATYP and Brown’s Mart Theatre). Each year the awards, nominations and reviews that we received for our work demonstrate the consistently high quality we aim to achieve.

At present, the financial risk in staging major productions in this environment is overwhelming.

The financial impact is further exacerbated by the defunding of ATYP by the federal government’s arts investment and advisory body, The Australia Council.

Donating to the ATYP Production Fund demonstrates your commitment to excellence in the performing arts. You will be supporting the productions that launch the next generation of Australia’s professional artists, and the cast and creatives who bring them to life!

All donations will be acknowledged on our website for 12 months. Donations of $2 or greater towards ATYP initiatives are tax-deductible for Australian tax payers. ABN 24 000 816 704
